The song is not bad, but the music video is quite interesting. It uses zombie-love as motif, combined in a sleek, circus-like high-tech high-fashion setting. It applauds the sick, psycho, diseased, the insane, the bad — all due to the power that is love.
I'm sure, this zombie dance must have had some inspiration from Michael Jackson's Thriller.
This song, of its callous style, reminds me of Eurythmics's I Need A Man.
“Bad Romance” has been modified and sung in Chinese (Taiwanese), titled 鋩鋩角角, sung by 王彩樺. Though, the lyrics and song nature are entirely changed. Its motif is no longer zombie-love.
I didn't find Lady Gaga's song that good, other than the music video. But I actually like the chinese version very much. Listened to it repeatedly for about 10 hours non-stop today.
