From my experience, if you just add one page that contains a pretty chick or semi-nude female, that page's traffic will eclipse your other hundred pages. [see Moving Porn out of XahLee.org] So, i wonder what percentage of reddit traffic is porn related. (it also means more $$$.) Note that there's lots of semi-porn related sites that became huge success. These sites typically start by a teen as teen drivel fodder, where almost 100% content is naked chicks or lurid pictures (shock site, or cute puppy site.). Then, when they become big, either the luridness gets reduced or moved out, and or the site become more respectable as some digital age trend setter. For example: 4chan (ranked 605th with 0.1172 reach), Fark.com (ranked 2.343k with 0.0555 reach). In fact, facebook started that way. See: Facebook's Ethics.
Jailbaits on Reddit!
Just discovered that reddit has a section of Ephebophile. Quote:

On October 12 2012, Adrian Chen posted an article identifying Reddit moderator Violentacrez as Michael Brutsch.[38][39][40] In the days prior to publication of the story, Reddit's main politics channel, r/politics, and a number of other forums on the site banned Gawker links from their page;[41][42] at one point, Gawker was banned from all of Reddit.[43]
